Check the Power Supply

Remember that – a steady power supply to your Nighthawk device is very important to complete the setup process without hindrance. So, what you can do – first check the wall socket to which you have plugged in your Nighthawk device – ensure that it is in working condition. And, secondly – the socket should provide steady and non-fluctuated electricity to your WiFi device.

On the off chance – you find any sort of damages in the cable – plug in your extender to a different wall socket – or you can install a new.

Verify the LEDs

The LEDs on your Nighthawk device must be stable green. If anyone of them is blinking – or showing amber/ orange or red color – then also you may have issues performing Netgear Nighthawk setup process. So, to deal with the LED-related issue – restart your device.

Once you have open the client device up – navigate to its WiFi settings – and from the appearing list of SSID – select your extender’s default SSID, Netgear_ext – and connect the client device to it.

Do Netgear Nighthawk Login

After opening up your client device and connecting it to your Nighthawk extender – launch an internet browser – input mywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250 – press the Enter key, and access the Netgear Nighthawk login window.
